Art critic Sini Mononen was given the award, €10.000, for the essay in the book Minna Långström & Sini Mononen: Sulaminen / Att smälta / To Melt (Poesia, 2016).

Finnish Art Society gives annually an award for “the best art book of the year”. The award, €10.000, is given to writers, editors or illustrators for advancing art literature in Finland.
Art books published in Finland in 2017 (2-3 copies) can be sent until 31.10.2017 to the address:

The Literature Award will be given in December. Art books published in November–December can participate in the following year’s book contest.
