Awards and Grants

 

The Finnish Art Society awards thirteen major art prizes annually (the Ducat Prize for young artists, the Lifetime Achievement Award for mature artists, ten William Thuring Prizes for artists aged 35-45, and the Edvard Richter Award for art writers). Grants are additionally distributed to young artists and art writers.

The annual prizes and grants are decided by the Board based on proposals submitted for its consideration by specialized committees.
